I just recently discovered LearnHub, a really nice idea (and implementation) of an online learning (and teaching) community. Taken from LearnHub's about page:

LearnHub in 30 Words:

LearnHub: for people who love learning and sharing knowledge with others. It is a set of tools that make learning online fun and engaging, and teaching online easy and effective.

The site is growing day by day (and I've been a member for only one week) and you can find learning communities for every taste (including of course Ruby, Rails, Merb, CS and company) some with plenty resources and others with less. Also the people behind LearnHub seem to be active members of the Ruby/Rails ecosystem (too bad their blog has been inactive for some time) and the site itself is built with rails which is one more reason to visit it if you are engaged somehow with ruby yourself :)

Now, two general, non-technical but quite interesting lessons I recently discovered there:
Go check the site and see yourself if you like it or not. If you like it why don't you write some lessons, tests or add trivia questions? Feel free to add me as a contact there if you want!

Interesting weekly news

Ok, these are from the previous week (at least) but in case you missed them be sure to check them out:
